Welcome to Saxo & Xylo development boards page.
Saxo & Xylo are FPGA + ARM development boards, based on Xilinx/Altera FPGAs, plus Philips's LPC213x ARM processor.

Features
- FPGA + ARM processor, controlled from an 480Mbps USB-2 link.
- Self-powered & fully controlled from USB, no JTAG cable or power supply required.
- Come with documentation, tutorials, source files and tools.
- In addition of being development boards, they can be used as logic analyzers (using Chipscope or SignalTap) or analog acquisition systems (using a Flashy daughterboard).

Note 1: Not native, but FPGA JTAG-over-USB possible by soldering 4 wires on the boards.
Note 2: Five VGA IOs are shared with the IOs of the main board header.

Special requirements
For Saxo-L & Xylo-L/-LM (with ARM processor):- About 100MB download from the internet for the Eclipse IDE
- About 300MB disk space to install the Eclipse IDE
